Joe Locke’s family has been in the Carolinas since 1765. He is a graduate of The Citadel (Class of '81), has built an impressive career spanning over 40 years in engineering and construction. He began his professional journey with Daniel Construction Company, which later became Fluor, where he spent four decades working on diverse projects across industries like chemicals, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, mining, manufacturing, government, and nuclear energy. Joe's ability as a project manager to solve complex issues has earned him a reputation as a highly capable and reliable leader.
In 2003, while still with Fluor, Joe founded Anchor Solutions, a consulting firm providing strategic business solutions. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to other ventures, demonstrating his diverse interests and ability to bring unique ideas to life.
Anchor Solutions has allowed Joe to extend his reach into the world of business startups, real estate, and entrepreneurial ventures, offering insights that maximize a business's positive impact on its core operations and the communities it serves. He enjoys the challenge of helping entrepreneurs map out plans, execute them effectively, and celebrate their successes.
